What is hope?
Hope is one of those things you don’t think about until you don’t have any. There are many things we hope for: it doesn't rain, we get a promotion, we don't get pulled over, we meet someone special, etc. Having hope refers to having confidence and assurance in the things we cannot see or that are beyond our control.
Have you lost hope?
There are many factors in life that can cause us to lose hope, such as breakups, loss of loved ones, financial crises, the evening news, illness, and more.
Have you ever wondered if there is more to our lives than meets the eye? Does your heart tell you that something is missing from your life? Does it still feel like something is missing, even when life is going well? That missing piece is an empty place in our souls that nothing on earth can fill. Identifying ourselves, finding fulfillment, and discovering hope in this life and the next are all dependent upon that missing piece. We all need a hope that is not based on the circumstances and emotions of today, but rather one that is built on something that will last.
We all need a hope that is not based on the circumstances and emotions of today, but rather one that is built on something that will last.
Find never-ending hope.
Have you ever considered that the source of hope we need, is not something our world can provide? The hope every human soul longs for is found in one place, Jesus Christ.
"Jesus replied, 'I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.'" - John 6:35
The Hope we have in Jesus:
FORGIVENESS FOR ALL SINS
ETERNAL SALVATION
GUARANTEE OF HEAVEN
POWER OVER SIN
NEW IDENTITY IN CHRIST
“For God loved the world (that’s you) so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world (you) but to save the world (you) through him." - John 3:16-17
